Shinju Sano
Born in 1965 in Japan. Began working with Amir Karakulov from late 1995 and produced Last Holiday in 1996, which won a Tiger Award at Rotterdam and the Tokyo Gold Prize at the 9th TIFF.
Erlan Nurmuhambetov
Born in 1974 in Kazakhstan. He was the second director for Tulpan, which won the Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix at the 21st TIFF. Yashi, a work co-directed with Shinju Sano in 2008, was selected for the Montreal World Film Festival.
