Synopsis
Shanghai, Paris, a primeval forest: different locations, different stories, but all connected in some way. Shanghai: while working in Old Lu’s restaurant, Guoguang bumps into Xia. After she suddenly dies, lonely Guoguang tries to fulfill her last wishes. Paris: Old Lu’s son Lu Hao is studying at a university. He discovers another side of his moody landlord Old Liu after being mugged, and gradually ends up accompanying him during his last days. The forest: Guoguang’s elder brother experiences first-hand the impact of modern society on traditional forest life.
