Synopsis

Two swaggering wise-ass con artists take to the road, hawking fake medicine and swindling innocents from all walks of life. This road movie that begins in Bangkok, which becomes the end for one partner when their scam is exposed and he is assaulted. The majestic ruins of Sukhothai become his burial ground. Striking out alone, our hero passes through Lamphun, where among its seedy bars he experiences a singular encounter with a chanteuse. A love affair of sorts also develops during a short stay at an inn in Chiang Mai. He returns empty-handed to his home village Pai, in the hills of Northern Thailand.

Bill Yip

Working across film, TV, film and advertising for two decades, Bill Yip has taken part in over twenty quality feature films that went to major film festivals. He took up various posts such as an assistant director, scriptwriter and production manager. Bill then worked in advertising and production house as a creative director and audio-visual content director for eight years. Cure is his first feature film.
