Juichiro Yamasaki
Born in 1978 in Osaka. Coordinated the Kyoto International Student Film and Video Festival as a student, and worked as an assistant director for Hobei Sato. Subsequently relocated to his father's hometown of Maniwa, Okayama, where he farms tomatoes and runs cinema screening group cine/maniwa. Made his first short film The Fall Leaves in 2008. The Sound of Light is his first feature-length film.
