The 24th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) and Time Out Tokyo Inc. are delighted to announce a unique collaboration which will be presented across a variety of platforms, including the festival’s print guide, a smartphone application and a dedicated website. This multimedia project will offer visitors the ultimate guide to the film festival, featuring interviews, the complete festival schedule, and a superb introduction to the Roppongi area.
TIFF (one of the biggest film festivals in Asia) and Time Out Tokyo (Japan’s branch of the international lifestyle publication) will begin by publishing Tokyo International Film Festival: The complete guide, released on October 19. This Japanese/English bilingual publication will be distributed at all the key festival sites, hotels and restaurants, not only in Roppongi and adjacent areas, but also at Haneda International Airport.
A smartphone application is also in the works to help domestic and foreign audiences make the most of the movies and Roppongi itself, as well as co-organised TIFF and Time Out Tokyo events, more details of which will appear shortly on the respective websites.
