Q: How do you feel about participating in TIFF?
Kong Quee-hyun (Director): It’s my first time in Tokyo Japan, and I was really impressed because TIFF was a very huge film festival. I enjoyed coming here very much.
Park Sang-hyuk (Actor): I am also impressed with TIFF. We found the staff to be very kind and the reception was very nicely done.
Kim Chang-hwan (Actor): I enjoyed this festival very much. Thank you.
Q: We made the TIFF slogan for this year as “Believe the Power of Film”. Do you have any specific episodes for feeling the power of the film?
Kong Quee-hyun: When I feel depressed or when I have a subtle feeling, watching the films encourage me and cheer me up. And that is a time when I feel the power of film at its greatest. I want to call this a miracle and believe in the power of films.
Park Sang-hyuk: Do you know a Korean film named “dogani” The film is based on the real story. I felt an anger watching this film because the character in it was such an evil person. Many Korean people watched this film and felt the anger within. I thought that was the power of the movie as well.
Kim Chang-hwan: We gather here from all around the world and have fun. This is the power of film.
